As the University continues to expand its portfolio and student base, the Division ensures that students studying UGM qualifications at our UK and international partner institutions receive a high-quality, consistent and rigorous academic experience.</p><p data-start="497" data-end="799" style="text-align: justify;">We are seeking a Lecturer to lead delivery on our undergraduate and postgraduate research provision across several international partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse student body and contribute directly to academic quality, student success and the integrity of our awards.</p><p data-start="801" data-end="1271" style="text-align: justify;">You will be confident in teaching, programme leadership, supervising research projects and guiding students through their academic journey. You will be organised, responsive and able to manage a portfolio of students, ensuring engagement, progress and timely completion. You will also have strong subject knowledge in business and management and be comfortable working within established academic frameworks, policies and quality assurance expectations.</p><p data-start="1273" data-end="1623" style="text-align: justify;">This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work professionally with colleagues, students and external partners.             <p id="isPasted">The University of Greater Manchester is a &ldquo;Teaching Intensive, Research Informed, Assessment Enabled&rdquo; higher education institution whose distinctive high quality, student-focused, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes attract students from all over the world.</p><p>Due to growth in our postgraduate education student numbers and expanding research and Knowledge Exchange activities, we are looking to appoint an academic who will provide supportive and effective leadership for the School of Education.</p><p>Our staff are at the heart of everything we do: they are highly qualified and experienced in their fields, supporting their teaching practice by carrying out quality research and engaging in continuous professional development. Staff pride themselves on being highly skilled professionals that provide excellent learning, teaching and applied research and support in the provision of custom-designed, practice-led courses in numerous subject areas. Many of our programmes are accredited by the DfE and regulated by OFSTED.&nbsp;</p><p>The key duties of the post holder will be to play a key role in supporting, expanding and enhancing the School of Education. Leading on the development and delivery of a financially sustainable portfolio of under-graduate and post-graduate courses. This will involve collaboration with key staff, to ensure innovative programme and curriculum development, resulting in increased student satisfaction and retention. The post holder will also be required to contribute to the teaching and delivery of Professional, undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes in the area of Education.&nbsp;</p><p>In addition to leading the school on its central teaching agenda, the role-holder will provide direction to a number of Centres within the School, including research and KE (e.g. the International Centre for Educational Leadership, and the Centre of AI in Education.) The School also houses the University&rsquo;s academic staff development and teaching observation function, acting as a liaison point between the Higher Education Academy and our staff.</p><p>Applicants should have significant leadership and management experience, working in Compulsory/Further Education and Higher Education.
